after ONE year of chemo therapy it starts to be exhausting
for the body and the soul.

Of course you should look for another instrument! Never stop looking out for new stuff - but keep practicing your pan(s) with one hand - you
'll master them from a completely new angle. Maybe come up with something totally new, inspiring for the whole community. Get your one hand ready to be able to welcome the other one when it's the right time for it.
