Sounds rather dodgy to me...contact only by email not through ebay....wreaks of scam...

Hands off that one! I'm absolutely sure it is a scam. The suspiciously cheap buy it now price in connection with having to contact the seller directly is very typical. The ebay account has probably been hacked. Report it, it is against ebay policy.

Now it returns a search on gates of steel (not Halo Golden Gate) lol.

Definitely a scam...!!

We have a forum member who was ripped off in a very similar way, unfortunately. The emails he received seemed to be from ebay but they were fake. Ebay refused to take any responsibility and he lost all of his savings.

Hmmm tough call to get eBay to give a monkeys if their system was simply copied instead of actually being used to perpetrate the scam (even though it was initiated through a dodgy listing). How very sad for that forum member...

The guy who bought my Hang in the States had been ripped off twice to the tune of $15,000!
