SungEun Jin's handpan got stolen in Rome

The Korean handpan player SungEun Jin's handpan ( probably BElls but not sure ) got stollen while he's traveling in Rome, Italy.
I'm feeling very sad.

I hope he could find his pan.

I just wish that he can recover it as soon as possible...

Totally agree - any information is critical to the recovery of his loss. Pictures, serial numbers. place, time, date.... the more precise the better. Our crew can spot anything - anywhere.

And we have seen good outcomes in the past. Let us hope that the community can be of help.

How did it happen? I'm heading to Europe soon and am a bit anxious about my bells getting nicked! Will I need to sleep with it at night?

I don't think there a general rule for Europe Just don't leave it unattended or in your parked car. When I travel (mostly by train) I use a cable lock like the one picture below (http://www.amazon.com/Pacsafe-RetractaS ... B001RW56HC). Not strong enough if a thief wants to cut the cable but most of the time a luggage thief takes something because he can take it very quickly--if he has to cut a cable he'll just skip it.
