I agree... move on. The universe will provide you a path. No need to work at a job that you can't put your heart and soul into it. My dad spent 25 years working at General Motors, hating it the whole time (unknowingly to me as a child) only to be fired for no logical reason(free'd as he says). He is much, much happier now. Don't waste your time... life's too short.

Hi Heavenly3lues,

Yes I do live in a busking friendly town and I do quite often on weekends and I did leave the music industry a year ago as I found that doing music as a job ment I did not enjoy or do any music at home which was becoming a problem.

I am in the process of taking Hadpan instruments into homes with either disabled children or children whom may not be in this physical world for long. Whilst busking I have found that children, more so than anyone else, find handpan instruments very calming so hopefully this will lead to a more wothwhile being than just selling stuff people actualy dont need.

Hey Rob,

Great Idea! I do alot of volunteer work at a kids camp for kids with chronic and life threatening illnesses. It is truly amazing how much they can connect with music! I have been bringing hank drums to camp for about a year now and its so fun to let the kids have a go on them. Ever thought about doing hospital visits or looking in to music therapy? I volunteer in the kids section of some local hospitals and bringing a little to music to share can make their week!
Play now, think later...

Where exactly do you live Rob? If you don't mind me asking... Also... music therapy is a great field and it's up-and-coming!!! There are a lot of advancements and great research going on in the field right now!
