Lost: My Open Hearted Enthusiasm

What have you lost ? What have you found ?

Roy - I'm so sorry for your loss of family. Glad your wife is sticking by you and assisting with some support. I know about having a job that's no fun. Those years are past for me now - long retired. If your life imprisons you at times, maybe you can look for tiny blades of grass between bits of concrete. That's how I came to learn about spiders (hehe)

I sometimes also have some bad moments.
In these last four years I have struggled enough to have a new hang or a new handpan, and I never got.
It has been quite difficult for me to see some people get multiple instruments, and some people get more that a handpan the same creator.
I have not nothing against these people, just liked having a bit of luck they have.
I think the handpans should be better divided by the people.
Right now I'm also going through a bad phase, i was to go later this month to Russia and i did not get the visa.

But I will not give up my dream and I will continue to fight!

DanR, stop bitching!!

You own a first gen hang and you are still not happy??? Then nothing will make you happy. Things don't bring happiness.

You have to be happy first. Then you can enjoy things.

Sorry if I don't shed a tear when thinking about your poor situation.

So DANR,

Since you know how it feels to be panless and see others with multiple handpans, and you clearly expressed your feelings about that matter in your previous post...

Which handpan will you be passing on to a panless member?

Hi Josh,

I do not know of you, you do not know me, do not know my life does not know the story of my hang. I noticed you're new to the forum, but I do not know if you are this handpans world of long ago. I think you have no right to judge me that way.

I bought my hang used two years ago, at a price much lower than is seen on ebay, but he was in very poor condition.

I sent my hang for the Panart, and Felix nor opened the box, and return my hang, I searched a lot, to find someone to tune my hang.
Who tuned my hang was the ECS. I asked to give me a budget, they did not.
Tuned my hang without my permission and after asked 750 euros. It was very expensive, and the service was bad
done.
Thank god, Victor tuned my hang.

But Victor told me that even then the sound was not perfect, because the instrument was in very poor condition. I'm giving my love to hang, that the former owners did not. If somebody else would have tried to sell, hang on ebay, but I love these instruments.

Some people have said that my hang is not Panart or that the sound is not good, but I never abandoned it. Even though my hang was perfect is not equal to a hang 2gen, SPB, Halo or Bells. Any experienced hang player will tell you that.

I do not wanna make me a victim, but my salary not give to pay for the ECS. These instruments are my greatest happiness, not for any money that buys happiness. For many people happiness is to have big cars, houses, clothes, to me is these instruments.

I tried to express my feeling but my English is not the best, but if someone thinks that my tears are the theater, you do not know me.

Regards

Peace and love.
