This seller is in Montreal and that is a 1½ hour drive..i asked to get the # and to meet him this week end..we will find out...strange story buying it from a street musician !

Funny how people spend large amounts of money for instruments these days and never use them ! I must agree he knows nothing about this instrument or musicality (so I imagine he will feel barely responsible for scamming you...).

Does anybody know how a Bali Steel is numbered? Is it etched in somewhere or is there a piece of paper inside?

Update.. Sent this guy a mail because i live close. Never answered but took out the picture where we could see the panart sticker and lowered it's price. He's putting this peice of paper to prove that he has the pan . Please every body report this so this sale could dissapear.

you are not the first email I receive saying that this is a fake, indeed I now believe it and ebay as took down my first listing. I have take the logo of panart down even from the handpan since it is a fake. I bought this item 6500$ and believe i've been scam myself because i didnt do my research at the time of my purchase, however I did my research now and the handpan I have in my possesion looks like a second generation handpan (i look it up on google image) I took down the afiliation with panart. Please let me know what can I do.

So glad you replyed...so sorry you have been scammed. Now lets clear things. Second generation his a term used for pan art hang only so that name has to be removed..could also rtemove the add for now untill you know better what to do . From what many of us can see and hear what you have is a Bali Steel Pan made in Bali, not a top pan but not a bad second grade, but it needs tuning. Did you really buy this on the street ?? Try to locate the seller ...who knows..do you have his name..maybe...
I beleive and trust you that your intentions are good that is why i will do everything that i can for you..
Many options are available...as a member of http://www.handpan.org i have just sent a message asking how mutch is a Bali steel worth. Also we could find you a tuner (usa) who could tune it and maybe you could enjoy playing it. This will be a costly life lesson if you decide to keep or sell for it's real price. May i suggest you become a member of our community. It could help you in this journey towards a good pan. If you want to look me up on the forum my aka is drumabob
