If you are interested in getting this wonderful and high quality sculpture you have the option of discovering yourself the work they do instead of deciding whether or not believing in the same members attempting to make controversy towards this brand.

STG offers video assistance via Skype, so if you were selected to buy and STG from their waiting list you have the chance to video meet with them via Skype. This way you can ask all your question regarding service, availability, logistic and everything like that before making a purchase. In addition you will be able to see with sound the actual STG you are going to receive, their job shop, all the accessories and how they work, know the makers personally and all their work in general.

I did it and I convinced myself, and now I have a beautiful STG living in my home. Hope this information was useful for you.

Miguel Carvalho... another of the members who pay attention very, very much to this brand.. always following the threads again and again showing his great interest!, if you read the description those are the first touches of that person on a hand pan instrument.. and also that model is listed as a earlier model.. how about this one, I compare the integral STG to 2 integral Hangs:

Since you seem to be the spokesperson for STG, can you answer a few questions for us?

(Yes, I am very interested in their product, which is why I keep writing about it).

I do think they have a decent product that is coming along nicely. I'd like to see the Ding sound improved a bit. There's some work that can be done there to make it have more resonance and to really "boom the room" so to speak. There are also a ton of upper partials that could be worked on. Otherwise, I think tone wise they do sound pretty good. Not a Top Tier handpan yet, but maybe at some point. Sound quality is of course of utmost importance in this genre, but second to that is the integrity of the maker. Mr. STG still has quite a bit of hammering on his ego to work that part out, IMO. The past does not recede easily.

My main question for now is, why is the instrument called STG, when SaGiTarius is clearly spelled SGT?? To me, STG sounds just like SPB, and it appears to me that the owners have intentionally switched the letters for marketing purposes to make it sound like SPB. Can you please explain this?

saying that you are interested in their product is a good start to keep writing as a conversation of adults and not a discussion as a like children.. i also do think they have a decent product and my experience with them was very comfortable and a felt very well and very supported when i got my sculpture. i am no sure why stg but i read in facebook that stg is not tricky to type for non native english speakers instead of longer names. to me, if spb would be 2 letters similar to stg i would think what you assume but they have 2 letters in difference so.. they dont even exteriorly look like the spb, i will think more in a halo for exterior look. This is my guess but you can be free to contact them a ask them directly.

Yes, people are interested in these topics because they have a lot of questions. You allege no ties to the company yet, for some reason, you become very defensive when people ask some hard, solid, questions about these instruments and I am beginning to wonder why that is? Out of anyone, it seems that you have the most interest in this instrument and continue to post solely on threads related to it. As long as you are making these posts, people will respond. That is the nature of a community and a discussion board, especially one that is this passionate.

Please understand that this web site is the place to discuss handpans. It is filled with some of the world's biggest handpan enthusiasts. There will be hard questions to answer, as people want to know more. Imagine going to a Fender guitar forum and posting about a Chinese copy of the Telecaster. Fender enthusiasts will ask hard questions in that type of situation, much like this one.

I can see that you are also seeing opposition because, based on the way of your posts, you come across as if you are marketing for this company, or are affiliated in some way (which, according to forum etiquette, requires you to be transparent about it if this is the case).

SGT is easy to write too. Why change the letters around? I know it doesnt look like an SPB, but now the name sounds like it. SGT STG. It makes no sense whatsoever to change the letters around. The only explanation is to ride the wave of SPB's success. Its just fishy marketing, that's all. It is what we have come to expect from this group. And I would like to see that change. This instrument needs no marketing, but they have been aggressive with their marketing. It is not necessary, and it rubs me the wrong way.

Anyhow, enjoy your sculpture. They are sounding better every time a new video comes up.

Psanchez, can we have a comparative video of your Sagittarius and your STG ? Including another reference instrument (Hang, Halo, SPB or anything which has a "known" sound) if you have one...
